Early on Tuesday, four people were shot in Winnipeg’s Spence neighbourhood, and they are currently hospitalized. Police were called to a multiplex near the intersection of Spence Street and Cumberland Avenue at around 2:15 a.m. and found three people in a suite with gunshot wounds. The fourth victim was found nearby.

The police officers provided emergency medical care before the men were taken to the hospital. The police said that two of the victims are in their 20s, and the other two are in their 30s. As of now, three of the victims are in stable condition, while one is in guarded condition. No arrests have been made yet.

A few blocks away on Beverley Street, four hours later, another shooting occurred. A woman died, and another woman was taken to the hospital in unstable condition. A police spokesperson said that there is no indication that the incident on Beverley and the one on Spence are related.

The shootings on Tuesday took place one day after two teens were shot, one of whom died, in Winnipeg’s St. James neighborhood. A 15-year-old boy was killed, and a 17-year-old male is in stable condition in the hospital.

The police are investigating all of the shootings and urge anyone with information to come forward.
