Winnipeg convenience store crashed into by vehicle

The Winnipeg Police Service believes a front-end loader intentionally crashed into a convenience store on Main Street on Tuesday morning.

A 7-Eleven in Winnipeg sustained extensive damage.

Officers began to investigate the incident at around 4:20 a.m. on Tuesday, November 1, after they received a call that a front-end loader intentionally drove into a store in the 1300 block of Main Street. The front-end loader drove drove away from the scene after the crash.

Fortunately, the store was closed at the time of the crash

Photos from the crash-site display a 7-Eleven with extensive damages, which includes the front of the store being crashed into and its debris scattered in the parking lot.

The images also show the 7-Eleven’s sign above the store was demoslished.

Police believe the crash was intentional, and officers are searching for the front-end loader and its driver.
